Children under 12 – no charge

Directions to Lake Moomaw:
Exit 16A from I-64 to US220 North for 5.6 miles. Left on Route 687 for 3.2 miles. Left on SR 641/666 North for 4.2 miles. At the 3-way intersection, follow signs to Cole’s Point. You will drive over Gathright Dam. Go uphill and it is the first shelter on the left. If you follow signs for Cole’s Point you will make it there. The number for the Forest Service is 540-962-2214 in case you get lost.

The closest airport is Roanoke Regional Airport and train station is Clifton Forge.

Carpooling:
We encourage carpooling! If you are interested in traveling with another camper from your area, please email Bethless8@hotmail.com. We will also be organizing carpooling from the Cole’s Point down to Camp to reduce the number of vehicles that drive onto the property.

Lodging:
Campsites are available at the Morris Hill Campground. Email Angie at treasurer@campappy.com if you are interested in camping so that she can determine if we should reserve a group site ($35 per site) or individual sites ($10 per site).

For those who want a bed and AC, hotels and B&Bs are available in Covington or Bath County.

For those arriving Friday night:
A group of former campers are unofficially meeting at Cucci’s Pizzeria on Rt. 220.
